Code of conduct

  1. Respect the people and communities who carry beverage traditions, and represent their knowledge accurately and with consent.
  2. Provide truthful information to SCLA and keep it up to date.
  3. Use your SCLA membership, certificate and badge only for the category and period they state; never present membership as an academic degree, licence or accreditation.
  4. Act with honesty, fairness and care in professional and community settings.
  5. Respect intellectual property, cultural heritage and the privacy of others.
  6. Promote responsible enjoyment of beverages.

SCLA may suspend or revoke membership after a fair process where this code is seriously breached.
