About the Event
The 20th Anniversary Edition of the Vienna Arbitration Days (VAD 2026) will take place in Vienna on 20 and 21 November 2026, bringing together international arbitration practitioners, in-house counsel, academics, and institutions for 1.5 days of discussion. The conference theme, 'Arbitration Unplugged: Under Pressure', addresses party autonomy, enforcement challenges when legal systems collide, and truth-finding amidst digital disclosure. Keynote speaker Hamid GHARAVI (Derains & Gharavi) will address the role of lawyers in safeguarding the rule of law during geopolitical uncertainty. Early bird registration rates are available until 4 September 2026, with preferential rates for ASA and ArbAut members.
