About the Event
The UNCITRAL secretariat is organizing a four-day colloquium at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 10 to 13 February 2026. Following requests made at the Commission's fifty-eighth session, the event brings together exploratory work on secured transactions involving new asset types and digital platforms under private law. The colloquium aims to facilitate dialogue among governments, international organizations, academia, and the private sector to identify cross-cutting issues and support coherent future work by UNCITRAL in digital trade and finance.
