About the Event
The European Law Students' Association (ELSA), in partnership with the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the Advisory Centre on WTO Law (ACWL), has launched the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition. To assist participating law students and coaches, the organizers are hosting global Information Sessions on 1 and 2 October, followed by Mooting Masterclasses on 16 and 18 November 2026. This year's simulated WTO dispute settlement case, set in 2037, examines the interplay between intellectual property, vehicle safety, trade restrictions, and commercial data use in autonomous passenger vehicles.
