About the Event
The Swiss Arbitration Association is supporting Australian Arbitration Week (AAW) 2026, taking place from 11 to 16 October 2026 in Melbourne, Australia. The flagship International Arbitration Conference will occur on Monday, 12 October 2026 at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins. Organised by the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) and co-hosted by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Australia), the conference theme is 'Arbitration Under Pressure: Rising to the Challenge.' Keynote speaker Niuscha Bassiri will address why top arbitrators make uncomfortable decisions. Topics include ISDS treaty reform, defence sector disputes, emergency arbitration, and procedural resilience. CPD points and member discounts are available.
