SUMMARY:SCLA 26TH GLOBAL FORUM-PRACTICING LAW IN THE FACE OF MILITARY CONFRONTATION – CHALLENGES FOR LAWYERS UNDER SEVERE CIRCUMSTANCES
DESCRIPTION:SCLA 26TH GLOBAL FORUM \nPRACTICING LAW IN THE FACE OF MILITARY CONFRONTATION – CHALLENGES FOR LAWYERS UNDER SEVERE CIRCUMSTANCES (FREE FOR SCLA MEMBERS) \n TIME: 15TH APRIL\, 13:00 -15:15 CET TIME \nINCOME OF THE FORUM WILL BE DONATED TO UN UKRAINE HUMANITARIAN FUND \nINTRODUCTION \nThe military conflict in Ukraine is not only a humanitarian drama\, but also has substantial impact on business. The sanctions and counteractions result in a virtual stop of trade. Assets are being seized\, prices for raw material have skyrocketed\, supply chains are again disrupted. All these developments are posing a huge challenge for lawyers as well when advising their international clients\, acting as corporate counsel\, or exercising a function in the judiciary or a public authority. What is the impact of these developments on contracts\, what is the effect of sanctions are only two of many questions we want to discuss to contribute to assist members of the legal profession to react properly to the new situation. \n  \n \n

SUMMARY:Meet Up
DESCRIPTION:It is a long-established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters\, as opposed to using ‘Content here\, content here\, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text\, and a search for ‘lorem Ipsum will uncover many websites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years\, sometimes by accident\, sometimes on purpose (injected humor and the like).
